Marketing for Mozart Data

Building the marketing foundation at a seed-stage startup.

I was hired to build out marketing at Mozart Data, a startup selling data infrastructure tools. Over 12 months, I established a solid marketing foundation for the company by:

  • Creating a messaging and positioning framework that ensured everyone in the revenue org communicated Mozart Data in the same way
  • Increasing brand awareness through content, events, and digital ads
  • Redoing the website to clearly communicate Mozart Data’s product and reflect a more mature, modern brand
  • Assembling a marketing team with a growth marketer and content marketer
